I watched my favorite talk show on direc4u TV yesterday. I enjoy watching my show while I relax in my recliner. I usually eat dinner while I watch my talk show.
I have seen many talk shows over the years. There are only a few that compare to Oprah. Oprah Winfrey has been on the air for over twenty years. It first aired back in the late eighties. Very few shows have been able to sustain this type of type of run.
The Oprah Show has featured thousands of guests from all walks of life. Some of my favorite guests include Sean “Puffy” Combs, Barbara Streisand, Mariah Carey, and many others. Oprah has the uncanny ability of persuading her guests to open up for the audience. This gives the audience an opportunity to see inside their lives. I have learned from her guests by simply listening to their stories.
The Oprah Show has won many awards over the years. It is well known all around the globe. She even has viewers in some of the remote places on the planet. I love listening to various topics being discussed on her show, but topics related to children are my favorite. I have been able to apply some of the advice shared on her show. This advice has helped me become a better parent over the years.
This week, Oprah will say farewell to the daytime show she’s had for 25 years. And although that show is leaving the airwaves, that doesn’t mean Oprah is leaving forever.
You can still find her on her very own cable network channel, the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN). She’ll also have many other media ventures, including her monthly “O” magazine, various television and film specials from Harpo Productions and numerous philanthropically causes. She’ll also hit the road for President Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign.
To paraphrase, “You haven’t seen the last of Oprah!”
