Football Games in HD

Post contributed by Alfredo Gaines

I got my satellite television service hooked up a few weeks ago and have really enjoyed all the programming I’ve been getting. My favorite thing to watch in HD is pro football. The sport has always been exciting, but seeing it in high definition is like being right there in the stadium.

This new setup I have is the first time I’ve been able to watch HD programming on Football on Satellite in HD in my own home, and it has turned out to be a real treat. Like I said, pro football games look almost as real as life. I can see the expressions on the players faces, which gives a different aspect to the game. Before I could never really tell when a player was on the verge of losing his temper, but I sure can when I watch in high definition. Seeing the joy on a player’s face when he completes a great play or makes a touchdown is fun, too.

My friends who don’t have access to HD at home are starting to hang out at my place more often, so my social life has improved. Whoever whould have thought that television could make me more popular? I wish I’d gotten this setup years ago.

Thanks, Alfredo!

Don’t forget to check out our picks for the NFL playoff at Smooth’s Football Picks! I’m also going to post a special blog topic about what I feel is the constant “Nickel and Diming” of the Canadian cable and satellite consumer.

Comming soon!
