All the Cartoons From My Childhood

Contributed by Vickie Tyson

This weekend we had my sister, and her kids, visit from out of town, and while my sister was running a few errands, I agreed to watch the kids. Well it did not take too long for me to run out of things to do with them, and their suggestion of wrestling was far too exhausting, so we turned on the TV and tried to find something to keep them occupied.

It was not long before we stumbled upon Boomerang, I could not believe it, they had all of my favorite cartoons from when I was a kid, The Flintstones, Wacky Races, Top Cat, and what turned out to be the kids favorite, Scooby-Doo. I think we ended up spending a couple of hours watching the cartoons, the kids enjoying new shows and me remembering lots of fun times from my childhood. They even had some newer shows, like Garfied and Casper, as well as a new version of Scooby-Doo, called Mystery Incorporated, but we all enjoyed the older cartoons from when I was a kid the best.

I had no idea I could still watch all of those old cartoons, and now, even though my sisters kids have left, I still find myself watching Boomerang on satellite TV from

Thanks, Vickie! The one thing I enjoy about Boomerang is the classic cartoons from my youth, too. I, also love the fact that you can watch a vintage Flintstone episode any day of thw week.

This is my all-time favorite episode! It’s the Bedrock Twitch! (Watch below!)
