LeBron: Sign With The Knicks And You’ll Have A Ring Next Season!

An open letter to Lebron James.

Dear Lebron,

I can give you many reasons why you shouldn’t sign with the Knicks. (High Taxes in New York, Bad Ownership, etc.) But I can give you one good reason why you should sign…New York is primed and ready for a huge return to greatness!

Today’s signing of Amar’e Stoudemier should be a signal that the Knicks are serious about getting back in the game. For years, Madison Square Garden has been more like a funeral home than “the world greatest arena.” Yes, Knicks management has overpaid talent, hired incompetent staff and recieved little for their investment over the last 10 years.

But that was then, this is now.

You have a strong nucleus of young talent in-house and a great coach in Mike D’Antoni, to boot. And now you have a chance to literally take the city, and the world by storm. If you sign with the Knicks, you’ll put the league on notice that the Knicks intend on challenging the upper echelon of the league for an NBA championship.

You already love the Yankees. Why not take it a step further and watch them every night this summer in the Bronx? The city is starving for another NBA title. You’re hungry for a ring. Why not put that hunger together and go do a buffet on the league? All you have to do is sign on the dotted line.

An anxious New York Knicks fan!
