Turn Your Home Into A Wine Cellar

One of the most exciting and luxurious hobbies you can ever get into is wine collecting. There are different types of wines that cater to one’s tastes.

Types of wines are red and white and vary. They include, Chardonay, Merlot, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir.

Wine collecting also can be expensive, with some vintage wines selling for tens of thousands of dollars. The most expensive wine ever sold was a 1787 vintage Sauternes from Chateau Yquem for $100,000 dollars.

Putting together a home wine cellar can cost big time bucks. Wine cellars can range from a high-tech, temperature-controlled room with a sophisticated computer logged inventory system, to a simple wall of wooden bottle racks.

Then there are other factors, such as light. Wine must be stored in a place to ensure it doesn’t lose it’s distinct characteristics.

Then there are less sensitive features such as wine glass racks, stemware racks and bar glass racks. One website has a huge selection of these items for less, if you don’t want to spend the big bucks.

Many selections offered include wine glass racks that will fit into your design plans.
