To All Michael Vick Haters, GET A LIFE!!!

The $64,000 dollar question was asked today, as quarterback and convicted fellon, Michael Vick was signed to a two year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Vick was conditionally reinstated by NFL commissioner Robert Goddell late last month after serving an 18 month prison sentence for running a dog fighting ring. A decision on where Vick would end up was on everyone’s mind.

With wind of the signing, the response was swift. Many were outraged that Vick would be playing at all. Others, particulally fellow football players were very suportive.

Eagles starting QB Donovn McNabb personally lobbied for Vick’s signing, even though they play the same position. The two have been friend for years.

It’s clear that this subject is on everyone’s mind. My take on it is that Vick has served time. It was fair and went beyond the legal guidelines of what the punishment would have been.

It’s time to move on, people!

I’m under the belief that many of those who are anti-Vick probably never seen a football game in their life! These are part of the PETA wackos that try shock value to get our attention. These jerks need to be ignored and treated for what they are, domestic terrorists!

Many are also ‘so-called’, “Christians!” As far as I’m concerned, if you’re truly a “Christian”, this would be a no brainer! Forgiveness is what Jesus Christ taught us when he died on the cross 2,000 years ago! If Jesus can forgive those who killed him, you can forgive, too!

Michael Vick has a right to earn a living. Everyone deserves a second chance in life. Give him a chance to redeem himself.

Move on to the next story, people!

  1. kate.miller says:

I'm christian and I dont' believe he got a just and fair punishment for killing 10 animals. Yes, we think forgiveness but it also says in the 10 commandments "thou shalt not kill" it doesn't specify if that means animals or humans.

  2. Then think of "What Would Jesus Do?" He didn't have spite in his heart when he was on that cross 2000 years ago! He also didn't spout the 10 Commandments while he was up there! He forgave his captors! I suggest you do what Jesus did and do the same!
