A while back I did an entry on Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I first went there in 1985 during my time in the US Army. I didn’t think much of it back then, but in 20 years, the area has developed drastically.
The pier (shown above) was built in the early 1950’s and has weathered many hurricanes over the years. It was remodeled and lengthened after Hurricane Floyd in 1999. It site is perfect for those looking to do deep sea fishing.
The Prince Resort at Cherry Grove (shown above) is a spacious set of condominiums designed for vacations and all-year-round living. Myrtle Beach Accommodations can be found easily and accessibly.
So if you’re looking for a late summer getaway, consider the Myrtle Beach coast for a visit.
