Executives Take Payout While Asking For Employee Furloughs

Work For Free

Lin TV Broadcasting is asking their employees to take voluntary furloughs for the next couple of weeks to offset their financial woes. An internal memo showed that LIN employees would be allowed to take time off in one (1) week blocks of 40 hours.

That would be okay, if I didn’t see something utterly disguising.

It turns out executives at the company had a nice payday on behalf of their employees, this according to a filing with the Security & Exchange Commission.

As you can see that even though the top echelon had a lower salary, they still managed to bring in a hefty amount of change. Reading it just made me sick to my stomach!

I wonder if LIN TV executives will be taking advantage of the new program? NOT!!!
