A "Lynch Mob Mentality" On Union Busters?

If there’s anything I hate more in the world, it’s someone with a “silver spoon” in their mouth, telling other people how to live and what they need. That’s what’s happening at WCAU-TV, the NBC O&O in Philadelphia.

See the report from Philly.com.

Upon further research, I found that Justin Pizzi’s father is Charles P. Pizzi, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Tasty Baking Company, maker of Tastykakes.

Justin Pizzi also worked at WBRE in Wilke Barre-Scranton, Pennsylvania. For those of you who don’t know, NABET-CWA had union representation at the TV station until 2003, when the union was de-certified. Pizzi was an employee of WBRE during that time.

Questions – Isn’t it a bit of irony that Pizzi was the person that sent an email to his work colleagues questioning the need for a union? A bigger question is, “Was he involved in the de-certification campaign at WBRE?” But the biggest question is, “Will NBC Universal discipline Pizzi for improperly using company email?” Probably not!

Hey, if you don’t like being a part of a union, then be a freeloader! Write to your union and be an fee objector!

It’s acts like this that I think we need a “Lynch Mob Mentality” on all union busters, especially rich kids who cause trouble in union shops!
