I’ve been out of work for 6 months now, and I’ve been trying to find way to get noticed. At the same time, employers have been reluctant to spend their hard earned dollars on advertising their job postings, making finding the right job even more difficult. Well, I found a website that has the best of both worlds, where job seekers and potential employers can meet together. It’s called Resumark.com.
The website has been called “revolutionary” and has been featured on CNBC, Forbes Magazine and the Wall Street Journal. “Revolutionary” because job seekers can post resumes free online…and get paid to do it! To get started, all you have to do is sign up for a free account. Once you do that all you have to do is create your resume or, if you don’t have a resume handy, you can use the ‘resume assistant’ and start from scratch. Employers can search the resumes of potential employees and it’s absolutely free!
They also have a contest where first person to bring 100 legitimate registrations with resumes gets a cash bonus of $500 dollars. I posted my resume just to find out if it actually works.
In an uncertain economic world, you have to be creative and innovative. Resumark.com seems to be sending job seekers and employers in the right direction.
