Just Where Did Governor Palin Get Those Glasses?

The big story on the campaign trail for Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has been her glasses.

Consumers have been looking all over the country for her eyeglasses and wondering where they can get a pair.

I think I may have found a place where they can get them, if not one similar.

There’s a site called, “Zenni Optical”.

The company has been known to sell glasses starting at $8 dollars a pair, a pretty good bargain considering how much eyeglasses prescriptions cost nowadays.

You can find a huge selection of frames, with single vision lens, sunsensor (potochromic) lens, tinted sunglasses lens, bifocal lens and progressive lens.

According to their website, their secret to low prices is that they sell only their own manufactured frames direct to the customer, with no middlemen and virtually no advertising budget.

The site has been highlighted on the Clark Howard Show on Fox News.

Of course, if you have a prescription from your eye doctor ready, buying a pair can be relatively easy.

Getting back to Gov. Palin’s glasses. Her glasses are made by Japanese designer Kazuo Kawasaki. They’re worth a bundle! They are priced as high as $700, depending on the frames.

Now if you want a knock-off pair similar to what the Governor has, “Zenni Optical” has a pair like these below for $23.95.

So, if you need a new pair of eyeglasses and you don’t have extra cash, give Zenni Optical a look over!
